The Trade Show Coordinator should collect the Trade Show Registration Template and ensure prompt follow-up on all contacts and leads on returning to the office. Keep in mind trade show/event objectives include generating sales, generating sales leads (prospecting), enhancing the company’s image and visibility, introducing new products and services, and more.
The Trade Show Coordinator should instruct all employees attending the trade show/event on dress codes, expected conduct and professional manners (i.e., avoid eating or drinking, chewing gum, etc., while in the booth), how to address prospects and customers, and how to perform product demonstrations. The TSC should also assign and schedule staff for set-up and take-down of displays and ensure that the booth is adequately staffed during all exhibit hours.
