Trade Show Checklist Template
The Trade Show Coordinator should carry out preparations for the trade show or event using the Trade Show Checklist Template as a guide. MT1030-4 TRADE SHOW CHECKLIST covers the activity, person assigned, target date, actual date, and more. The Trade Show Coordinator (TSC) should conduct pre-show marketing at least two months in advance of the show (see form MT1030-4). Pre-show promotions must include, at a minimum, the name of the show, location, dates, and company booth number.
They should encourage the contact to attend the event and visit the company’s booth. The TSC should instruct all employees attending the trade show/event on dress codes, expected conduct and professional manners (i.e., avoid eating or drinking, chewing gum, etc., while in the booth), how to address prospects and customers, and how to perform product demonstrations. The TSC should also assign and schedule staff for set-up and take-down of displays and ensure that the booth is adequately staffed during all exhibit hours.
