Upon returning from the show, the Trade Show Coordinator should complete a Trade Show-Event Summary Template and submit it to the Sales/Marketing Manager within five (5) days of the end of the event, to help the Sales/Marketing Manager evaluate the performance of the show/event against objectives stated in the Trade Show/Event Plan. The Summary Form covers memos/notes for next time, general impressions, potential improvements, and more.
The Sales/Marketing Manager should evaluate the performance of the show/event by comparing the results according to MT1030-9 TRADE SHOW/EVENT SUMMARY against the objectives stated in the Trade Show/Event Plan and identify areas needing improvement. The Sales/Marketing Manager should retain a copy of the Trade Show-Event Summary Template and the post-event evaluation for next year’s show/event planning.
