The Marketing Manager should meet with the Sales and Production Managers and use the Social Media Calendar Template to develop a social media calendar for the upcoming month, quarter, or other suitable time frame. The frequency of social media activities will depend, in part, on their nature and the degree of complexity; such activity should be outlined on the MP1080-3 SOCIAL MEDIA CALENDAR. Not all activities will follow the same schedule, at least not once they have been in operation for a while.
The Marketing Manager should be monitoring activities and adjusting schedules on an ongoing basis. The Marketing Manager should meet periodically (e.g., once a month) with Department Managers and social media role players to discuss the success – or lack of success – of social media activities and determine if changes to the nature or frequency of activities or changes to the overall social media plan are required. The Marketing Manager should adjust MP1080-3 SOCIAL MEDIA CALENDAR as needed.
