The Marketing Manager should formalize the company’s Internet Plan Template in accordance with MT1010-2 INTERNET PLAN and submit the Plan to the CEO for approval. Upon approval of the Plan, the Marketing Manager should direct and monitor the Plan’s implementation. While developing the Internet Plan Template, the Marketing Manager should meet as often as needed with key Department Managers (e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Operations):
Balance opinions / mitigate biases;
Ensure the Internet Plan’s completeness and suitability;
Promote communication; and
Where conversion rates, etc., do not meet the objectives set forth in the Internet Plan, the Marketing Manager should make adjustments to the Plan in order to improve performance of the Web, conversion activities, etc. The Marketing Manager should meet monthly, at a minimum, with Managers of key Departments (e.g., Sales, Operations) to review MT1010-2 INTERNET PLAN.
