The Marketing Manager should formalize the social media plan on the Social Media Plan Template and submit the Plan to the company’s President (or chief executive) for review and approval. On gaining approval of the social media plan, the Marketing Manager should meet with participants (role players) to explain the plan and the participants’ relationships to one another and to begin implementing the plan. For each social media website, it is important to clarify: Who can post? What can be posted? And Who is going to reply to the post responses?
Where conversion rates and other data do not meet objectives set forth in the MP1080-2 SOCIAL MEDIA PLAN, the Marketing Manager should make adjustments to the plan to improve performance and/or adjust objectives. The Marketing Manager should meet periodically (e.g., monthly) with Managers of key Departments (e.g., Sales, Accounting, Operations, Human Resources) to review the MP1080-2.
