Product strategies have to do with product advantages/benefits and how they will be leveraged. Product strategies may include developing a brand name/identity, increasing/decreasing scope (breadth) of product line, changing packaging/labeling, and more. Target market strategies include identifying the company’s target market as well as undeserved or ignored markets. With regards to competition, potential strategies could be emphasizing the company’s strengths and correcting the weaknesses.
