Sales Management should regularly collect and review sales staff and sales administrator’s reports and then complete the Weekly Sales Summary Report Template. Sales Management should monitor sales by comparing actual sales results stated in regular reports submitted by sales department members, and in the SL1010-3 WEEKLY SALES SUMMARY REPORT, to the goals specified in the Sales Management Plan.
Sales Management should review the Weekly Sales Summary Report Template in order to review sales department performance, and calculate and the actual sale cycle and record it on the Sales Management Plan. Sales Management should also regularly review the actual sales in the summary against the Sales Forecast and attempt to understand, explain, and document reasons for discrepancies.
The SL1010-3 WEEKLY SALES SUMMARY REPORT should be reviewed for the number and frequency of reports submitted, and if actual number and frequency of reports submitted does not meet report submission goals, Sales Management should take corrective action to meet sales report submission goals, or revise the Plan to reflect actual report requirements.
