Any employee with a problem relating to either alcohol or drug abuse is encourage to contact personnel to discuss counseling or other treatment.
Breaks and Lunch Time should also have certain guidelines to follow. The company should provide two 15-minute rest breaks each day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon and an unpaid one-hour lunch period. The Human Resources Manager should establish break times. The purpose of breaks are to provide a needed rest during work periods, as such, breaks may not be accumulated to reduce working hours or to provide time off for personal business.
All companies are going to deal with complaints. Employees with concerns or complaints regarding company policies or operations should discuss them with their supervisor. If the employee feels their concern or complaint is unanswered or unresolved by their supervisor, the employee should meet with the Human Resources Manager and/or request that they meet with higher management in the company.
