The Company will develop, implement, and maintain Extortion Procedure for all staff personnel during an Extortion attempt.
The Extortion Procedure describes acceptable staff procedures for preventing or responding to extortion attempts, to avoid confusion, and to assign responsibility for the performance of necessary tasks. In addition to the instructions detailed for robbery response by staff and management personnel, this information is designed to reduce the possibility of becoming a ransom victim and, if an employee or family member becomes such a victim, enhance the probability of that person’s safe return.
Extortion Procedures Staff Personnel Responsibilities
Security Director – handles all inquiries from the media.
Unit Security Officer – is notified when a phone inquiry is made about personnel information.
