The Extortion Procedure describes the process to follow for all management personnel during an extortion attempt.
The Extortion Procedure defines acceptable management process for preventing or responding to an extortion attempt, to avoid confusion and to assign responsibility for the performance of necessary tasks. In addition to the instructions detailed for robbery response by staff and management personnel, this information is designed to reduce the possibility of becoming a ransom victim and, if an employee or family member becomes such a victim, enhance the probability of that person’s safe return.
