John Duffy Process Engineer
John Duffy has over 40 years of Process engineering and business management experience working with large continuous manufacturing processes.
He has worked with business process design, chemical, energy and systems engineering projects consulting with companies large and small.

- Designing a training program to train 1200 new (replacement) workers for a large paper mill for International Paper. The program included documenting processes that were undocumented and training the whole plant of 1200 how to operate the mill. The project was completed in 90 days, 100% ahead of schedule, and the new workers operated the plant at 50% greater capacity.
- Designing and delivering an operations management program for Bethlehem Steel to reduce energy consumption. The program saved $27 million over three years.
- Developing training programs for Senior Management and directors at Monsanto to improve management effectiveness.
- Obtaining ISO 9000 certification for a Warehousing Company. Developed processes and procedures, conducted training and audits to complete certification on the first pass in less than 5 months.
He holds a Masters in Mechanical Engineering (MME) from University of CT and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from University of CT. John is an American Society of Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) and a IRCA Certified ISO 9001 Auditor.
