Dan-DavisonDan Davison is the founder of BentonsEdge LLC, which provides executives engaged in process improvement with the big picture, literally, through process mapping services tailored for the executive decision-maker;

He increases sales for his clients through creation and deployment of visual selling or Value-Story stories, info-graphics, business process illustrations and “how-it-works” maps.

BentonsEdge LLC was founded in 1999 to provide product launch and growth services for marketing for technology companies. Mr. Davison’s clients have included Lockheed Martin Corp., spin-out companies from The Boeing Company, The Patent and License Exchange (PLX Systems), IP Networks.

Mr. Davison founded and managed competitive intelligence for McDonnell Douglas’ military aircraft operations in the 1990’s at a time when the defense industry was consolidating into a few large players. Over a decade of industry change, Mr. Davison lead teams in competitive intelligence, quality and process improvement, and reengineering initiatives.

Mr. Davison has applied technology marketing principals as marketing manager for the Silicon Valley intellectual property software firm Aurigin Systems, and as a founding member of the technology out-licensing program at McDonnell Douglas, now Boeing Corp.

Mr. Davison earned an MBA degree with an emphasis in marketing from Saint Louis University, and a BA degree with an emphasis in quantitative methods from the University of Connecticut, and has received executive training in entrepreneurship from the Kellogg School of Northwestern University. Mr. Davison serves as co-chair of the Licensing Executives Society, known as LES, in the St. Louis, MO, region.
