John is a widely known and respected professional, offering more than 30 years of business leadership and consulting experience. He began his business career with a “Big 4” firm, where he served as lead regional partner for the middle market practice, leading its rapid revenue growth and expansion.
John also has experience in the private sector, where his titles included President, Chief Operating Officer, and part owner in various manufacturing and distribution businesses that saw significant increases in operational profitability under his watch. His contributions included areas of finance, operations, distribution, logistics, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and information technology areas, all with an emphasis on process improvement and infrastructure. John is currently Director of Risk Advisory Services for MPP& W, P.C., located in St. Louis, Missouri.
Today, John’s areas of concentration include risk assurance and attestation services, corporate strategic and financial planning, operational efficiency, cost accounting, operational controls, and information technology. John’s professional expertise also includes merger and acquisition activities, information systems, corporate expansion and personnel related issues.
John is an active member of numerous professional, civic and charitable organizations. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville (SIU-E) with a degree in Business Administration-Accounting. He received the Silver Medal for the 1975 Uniform CPA Examination.
