Q: "What will I get with my purchase ?"

A: All policies and procedures manuals from Bizmanualz are in editable Microsoft Word format. When you purchase a Policies, Procedures & Forms manual, you will get the following

When you purchase a downloadable product, you will receive the download link via email. Except for e-books that are in PDF format, all downloadable products are also in MS word format for easy customization.


Q: "Are Bizmanualz products applicable to a specific industry?"

A: All Bizmanualz products are designed and written for application to a wide range of industries and business types. They can be easily customized by you to meet your needs. Industry-specific regulations are not addressed.


Q: "Does Bizmanualz address specific US state (or local) requirements?"

A: Although US Federal compliance information is suggested, as appropriate, most of the material consists of "Best Practices" that every business should utilize for optimal performance. As part of the customizing that is required, you will need to add your own international, state or local requirements.


Q: "How often are the products updated, and will I receive notice?"

A: We continually review the products for improvements as needed. Generally, new or updated manuals are released annually. All Bizmanualz customers will be notified when these occur.


Q: "What is ISO 9000, and does my company need it?"

A: This is the certification process of the worldwide International Standards Organization. Many businesses and government agencies require their suppliers to be ISO 9000 certified.


Q: "How much additional work is required to complete my manual?"

A: Each printed binder comes with easily editable Microsoft Word documents. A typical Bizmanualz customer can expect to save half the time required to create a suitable policy and procedure manual. The actual time will vary by type and scope of your manual.


Q: "Can I contact customers who have purchased the products?"

Q: "What usage rights are granted by purchasing your products?"

A: Each manual is licensed to you, the purchasing company, for your internal use only or for the internal use of a single client of the purchasing firm. To read more about the license, click here.


Q: "Are discounts available for multiple purchases or for resale?"

A: Discount programs are available for multiple purchases of any kind. If you would like to provide copies of the manuals to your clients, customers, or students, contact our Sales Department at sales@bizmanualz.com for details on our discount programs. Format / Downloading


Q: "When will I get the email with download keys?"

A: An email with subject Order #4XXXX, Download Keys is sent to you within minutes after your order has been confirmed and payment processed. This email will contain the download link(s) and instructions.

We have noticed that some email clients block and/or filter this email because it contains "spammy" words like download, zip, click here, etc. Please check your SPAM or Junk Mail folders to make sure that your download instructions are not trapped there.


Q: "What is the format of the samples and procedure manuals?"

A: Bizmanualz samples are PDF files sent via e-mail as an attached document. They can be viewed using Adobe Acrobat and/or printed. Purchased products are MS Word Documents, compatible with Windows 95/98/NT/XP/2000 or MAC, and are completely editable by the user(s). To download samples click here.


Q: "What is the format of download supplements?"

Our download supplements are delivered in Zip or PDF formats. For products delivered in .zip format, you will need to extract or unzip the file for viewing and editing.

Zip files are "archives" used for distributing and storing files and contain one or more files usually compressed to save space. Zip files make it easy to group files and make transporting and copying these files faster.

WindowsXP can open zipped folders on its own, but other version of Microsoft Windows require a zip utility like Winzip to "unzip" zipped files.

Macintosh users can use the popular utility Stuffit Expander to uncompress Zip files.

For products delivered in PDF format, you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader 3.0 or higher installed on your computer. If you don't already have this program, you may download it free from Adobe.


Q: "What exactly is the software?"

A: The CD accompanying your order comes with MS Word files and templates that allow you to quickly finish the manual development process.


Q: "What methods are available to buy the products (hardcopy/compact disc/download)?"

A: All orders for a hardcopy manual come with a CD-ROM and 3-ring binder. A download option for selected manuals is also available. To receive a download version, add your request to the comments section in the order form. Customers ordering electronic, downloadable products (E-books, Handbooks & Guides, Industry Specific Manuals) are sent an e-mail confirmation upon payment approval. The confirmation contains instructions and a key for executing the download process.

Q: "Will I receive a confirmation e-mail for my order?"

A: Typically Bizmanualz ships orders the same day if received by 2:00 p.m. CST. An e-mail shipping confirmation will be sent with your tracking number.


Q: "What payment options are available?"

A: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards; money order, COD, bank wire transfer, company check; or PayPal. Shipment is made upon funds approval. For further information and wire transfer instructions, click Payment Options.


Q: "What are the shipping methods?"

A: Our standard is UPS Ground for US and Canada and DHL for other international orders. We also ship FedEx upon request.


Q: "Where do the products ship from?"

A: Most orders ship from our distribution center in Springfield, Missouri.


Q: "Can I use my own FedEx/UPS/DHL account number?"

A: Yes, but you must contact us by phone to place your order.

Q: "What is the return policy?"

A: When you purchase a printed manual, you have 30 days from the time you RECEIVE the product to examine the hard copy we send. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you can send the hard copy and unopened software (CD) back to us for full product credit. However, opening the CD (software) VOIDS this return policy. Orders for downloadable products may be "returned" within 48 hours of the expiration for a refund if you are not satisfied. To read more about returns click here.

A: Bizmanualz offers a wide variety of training classes, covering everything from ISO 9001 QMS and ISO 14001 EMS auditor training to Process Design. Our courses are held on a regular basis in St. Louis and select other cities.

In addition, all Bizmanualz training courses are available for on-site training on a customizable basis worldwide.


Q: "Does Bizmanualz offer other forms of assistance?"

A: If you require implementation assistance, training, or coaching to complete your project, then give us a call. We use a variety of technical writers and consultants as well as specialized professionals to produce all of the policy and procedures content. These resources are available on a project basis to simplify the development and implementation of your customized content. Typical projects range from ISO 9000 implementation to internal controls for accounting, human resources, security, or disaster recovery.
